The Approaching of Age of Aquarius

Many religions, cultures, and groups anticipated the Golden Age. Throughout history it has been spoken of. The New Age of peace and brotherhood. The Mayans believed the New World is coming December 21st, 2012. Jesus spoke of the water bearer coming will be the return of the Christ. Astrologers say that we are approaching the Age of Aquarius. But they debate on when it will begin. Some think it began centuries ago. Some think it will begin as late as 2500s. Whether it begin yet or not, I noticed signs that we are definitely feeling the Age of Aquarius.

I think one of the first signs that we are approaching the Age of Aquarius is the discovery of Uranus, the sign's ruling planet. It coincided with the century's Age of Enlightenment and Revolutions. I think we began feeling the energies of the Age of Aquarius as Philosophers and Free Thinkers began writing and debating Freedom, Civil Rights, and Equality. Aquarius rules new higher thoughts, philosophy, revolution, and brotherhood. The Age of Enlightenment was just that. People have had it with the way their life was running and were ready for change. People were ready for a revolution. During the 18th century we had new ideas, rebellions, and revolutions to establish a new form of government in which the people are free and everyone is equal.

In the 19th and 20th century we started to move more and more into technology and science and turn away from religion. Electricity was invented. It is also ruled by Aquarius. We had started using logic and science to understand our world. We began inventing things to help us in our daily lives. Inventions and humanitarian are Aquarian traits. Astronomy flourished. Our scientists slowly began replacing priests. The Internet was invented. With one click, we can now access limitless information and answers to any question. It is also ruled by Aquarius. Lightning-speed intuition. Where we have the answer instantly. Also global connections and union. Universal Identity.

Hippies came about and we even had a song "Age of Aquarius". New philosophies and beliefs began to form. New Thought and New Age movements began. Divine Science, Scientifici Religion, and Religious Science slowly took upon its roots. Such philosophies blend Science, Religion, and Spirituality into one philosophy. To understand the greater. To help all of people. One of the founders Religious Science, Ernest Holmes, was endorsed and became quite popular in his day. He was an Aquarius. Where as the Age of Pisces was the age of religion, faith, myths, and personal sacrifice (eg. charity) which seems to have been prominent the most until 18th century or so, now its like we have entered a new world! A new age so to say, actually. And that is the Age of Aquarius.

I don't believe we are yet in the Age of Aquarius. But I do believe we are approaching it. We are at the dawn of the Age of Aquarius. I think that that time portal is December 21, 2012. We shall see. And Whether that is the date or not, we know it is coming.
